Investigate a topic that interests you. Educate the reader about the current debate(s) surrounding your topic, analyze evidence from your research to argue for a particular stance and suggest a potential solution or call to action. Your thesis will respond to a conceptual question—one that does not have a clear answer. Support your thesis by responding to a constellation of questions that address relevant issues surrounding your topic. Engage a variety of sources to substantiate your claims. Spend at least one paragraph disputing a compelling alternative perspective. (7-8 pages)
– must have 3-4 peer reviewed journal articles
– must be about one of the texts we’ve read this semester
